Our country faces interlocking crises: Climate disasters like this summer's flooding in Southeast Michigan, the ongoing pandemic, and persistent racial and economic injustices that lead to unequal access to resources and care.
Our communities, which are most impacted by these crises, are the ones leading the way in fighting for solutions. MEJC has worked hard for the past months to push Congress and the President to deliver for Environmental Justice communities!
Now it’s time for us to mobilize and demand bold action. We deserve community-owned solar energy, statewide lead service line replacement, home health care for seniors, immigration reform, affordable housing, child care, and a green economy with millions of good, union jobs.
