You are invited to join us at the 2024 Michigan Climate Summit in person only this September at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Summit Programming is designed to inform, inspire, and uplift while exploring the intersections between civic engagement, social justice, and climate action: Climate Civics.
We are thrilled to welcome our closing Keynote speaker: author, educator, and environmentalist Bill McKibben. His impact on the work for a livable planet is unparalleled, especially in Michigan. He helped launch the Oil & Water Don't Mix campaign to shut down the Line 5 crude oil pipeline when he addressed the first rally in 2013. He intimately knows how to inspire people to act. Get tickets below to hear him close the Summit at the 1100-seat Rackham Auditorium on September 26.
The goals of this year's gathering include depicting the interlocking crises of democracy and climate justice, educating the populace and empowering lifelong climate voters, and departing with tangible ways to perform our civic duty to our communities.
Inclusivity is a priority for this event. If you need special accommodations, please get in touch with us.
Democracy is on the ballot this November. There couldn't be a more critical role than our first Keynote speaker fills. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is at the heart of Michigan's free and fair elections. You won't want to miss her address. See her in person - get your ticket below now!
We've reserved a room block and close-by parking for Summit attendees. Reserve your hotel room, and see carpool, parking, and venue information here.
Our pricing is designed so everyone can attend. You can choose your price tolerance by selecting a full-price General or discount Needs-Based Admission ticket. All are welcome!
