Gov. Whitmer signed orders to create the MI Healthy Climate Plan to protect Michiganders' public health and the environment. The plan will help develop new clean energy jobs by putting Michigan on a path towards becoming fully carbon-neutral by 2050.

Your Chance to Provide Input

The Office of Climate and Energy is asking members of the public for their insights about the climate plan and how Michigan can move toward carbon neutrality by 2050. Two online public listening sessions have been scheduled, one on Earth Day, April 22, and the second on May 5.

If you wish to speak, send an email to [email protected] with "Public Comment Request" and the date you wish to speak, and your name in the subject. Or you can register when the meeting begins.

When you RSVP, we'll send you some suggested talking points immediately by email so you can prep before the meeting.

RSVP now to receive the Zoom registration link and more meeting details.
