Get out the vote!
This is an important time to help make sure more people are voting so that our government is working for the people! Here are some tools to help you make a difference.
- Vote! Get to the polls on Tuesday, November 6th from 7am to 8pm! Yes, your vote DOES matter! Let's build a stronger democracy and create a government that works for the people! To find your polling location, visit https://www.michigan.gov/vote.
- Pledge to Vote here, and we'll text you a reminder.
- Encourage your friends to vote! Encouragement from friends and family is one of the most effective ways to get people to vote. Reach out to five people you know and tell them to vote. And share our Get Out the Vote video on social media - here are the links for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Know your rights! Your ballot will always be secret, and no one can find out who you voted for unless you tell them. The only aspect of your voting experience that is not secret is whether you chose to vote! If you are in line when the polls close, the polls must stay open until everyone in line gets to vote.
