The "Powering Michigan Forward" suite of bills removes a 1% cap that currently limits the number of solar energy systems that can be installed in Michigan, repeals a tariff that will allow solar energy customers to be fairly paid for the energy they produce, and simplifies how reimbursement for energy is done.
