Free and fun! AFFEW is excited to share a variety of in-person presentations during our Earth Day Celebration. The theme for 2023 is Invest in our Planet. This all-day event will include many topics of interest. This year’s keynote speaker is Dave Dempsey, environmental author who has helped shape conservation and Great Lakes policy for 30 years! AFFEW is also pleased to present Jim McGrath from Nature Discovery, bringing his interactive show featuring Michigan native snakes. In addition, many organizations and groups will be represented at the information booths. Kids' activities, guided hike, live music, healthy food to purchase.
