Join the global movement started by young climate activist Greta Thunberg right here in Michigan calling for action on climate change.
On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis. Millions of us will take the streets to demand a right to a future, and we’re inviting you to #strikewithus.
Come to share information as well as to learn--we will have tables for various organizations, groups, and individuals and a few speakers as we all seek to teach and learn from each other. The Climate Strike will happen from 3:00 - 5:00 PM in front of the UC.
