Join Grand Traverse Area Citizens' Climate Lobby for a FREE screening of the inspiring film 2040!
Motivated by his 4-year-old daughter and concern for the planet she will inherit, Damon Gameau, Australian award-winning director embarks on a global journey to meet innovators and changemakers to discover what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we embraced the best solutions already available to us and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream.
The film screening will be followed by discussion with local experts: Jamie Vaughan (Trout Unlimited), Nick Sanchez (Old-Growth Forest Network), Maddy Baroli (Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science), Bernie Ware (retired farmer), and Gene Lagerquist (Spirit of the Woods).
Citizens' Climate Lobby hopes the film will inspire the audience to take their own personal steps towards minimizing climate change.
