Mickkayla Callahan, M.B.A.
Operations Director
As MICAN’s Operations Director, Mickkayla works closely with the Executive Director to ensure justice-centered climate action through operational efficiency improvements, event management, donor and grant relations, and other initiatives.
With a Bachelor’s of Business Administration focused in Marketing and an M.B.A. with a focus in Human Resource Management, Mickkayla brings a diversified skill set and fervent passion to the team. Her education, combined with her experience in environmental activism, strategic marketing, and human resources, provides a strong foundation for her work in climate justice and community engagement. Mickkayla is passionate about many things, including climate justice, holistic living, strategic communications, continuous education, collective action, and more.
Her many passions keep her busy with MICAN and beyond. Mickkayla is a proud co-founder and Steering Committee member of the White Lake Area Climate Action Council (WLACAC). With WLACAC, she helps guide the White Lake Area in fulfilling its Net Zero goals. She is also the Marketing Lead for Montague Commoners.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, tending to her plants, spending time with loved ones, and creating meaningful art pieces.
