Ed serves as the Executive Director of the Conservative Energy Network. Ed brings over 35 years of unparalleled experience in Michigan policy making, having authored numerous sections of the state’s laws that remain in effect today. He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in public administration from Michigan State University, demonstrating a strong foundation in governance and public service.
Having been actively involved in political campaigns for more than four decades, Ed has not only managed record-setting statewide petition drives but also has a wealth of media experience. He has made live appearances on prominent platforms such as Good Morning America and CNN, and he has hosted a daily local radio program focused on current events, engaging with the community in meaningful discussions.
A true advocate for advanced energy solutions, Ed has integrated sustainable practices into his own life by installing a geothermal system and solar panels in his home, as well as driving a hybrid electric vehicle. His commitment to environmental stewardship is deeply rooted in his life experiences as a lifelong Michigander, Eagle Scout, and Scoutmaster. Ed’s passion for the outdoors is evident in his love for hunting, canoeing, and fly fishing along the picturesque AuSable River, shaping his perspective on the importance of preserving Michigan’s natural resources for future generations.
