We have commissioned a new play, titled Thirst, that tackles water rights, late stage capitalism, and corporate responsibility. It’s set in Michigan in the not-too-distant future, and the Great Lakes have been destroyed by a corporate oil spill, the world’s freshwater supply is thin, and people are relying on government-provided tablets for their hydration needs. It’s a glimpse into a future that is easy to imagine as we look at the way our environment is stewarded, or not, by those in power. More information is available here on our website.
