Join Traverse City community members to encourage our electric utility to set a community-wide 100% renewable energy goal! This will move us beyond the goal for city operations set by the TC City Commission and allow us to join the 58 other cities around the country leading the rapid and just transition off fossil fuels.

The TCLP board will be setting a renewable energy goal this month as part of its strategic planning, and they are considering a 100% goal. It is critical they hear strong support.
To avoid the worst consequences of climate change, we need to transition off fossil fuels entirely and quickly. Our state's 15% RE goal is not enough. Cities are leading the way with 100% renewable energy goals around the world, and we need cities in Michigan to join them. The time is right for TC!
