Hear from leaders in the scientific and environmental justice communities on the threats and opportunities facing Michigan voters and learn how you can make a difference!
In this time of unprecedented attacks on science, is critical for our community to engage in the electoral process. The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is partnering with Physicians for Social Responsibility at Wayne State and Engaging Scientists in Policy and Advocacy for a town hall to on how to stand up for science and address the issues that matter to you in this year’s midterm elections, including clean energy, climate change, and environmental justice.
Speakers include Michelle Martinez (Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition) and Blake Sanford (co-founder of Wayne State Physicians for Social Responsibility).
