Citizens' Climate Lobby, made up of local chapters of concerned citizens, is educating the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area community about climate solutions, and encouraging elected officials to pass strong climate laws. CCL believes that the only way to tackle climate change is together. Are you worried about how fast our climate is warming, and ready to do something about it? Join their meeting to learn how you can help!
What CCL does:
- Starts productive conversations about climate solutions in the community
- Builds support for climate action with community leaders
- Meets with members of Congress to advocate for effective climate solutions
Join its Climate Advocate Workshop to:
- Learn about the local group and its approach to climate advocacy
- Meet with other concerned neighbors and friends
- Hear how to join in and find your role in your local group
We encourage anyone in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area who is interested in climate to attend! Attendance is not a commitment to join.
The meeting will be in the Norris Room (upstairs) at the St. Joseph Public Library.
