Join us at the next free event, open to the public, as part of Michigan Climate Action Network's series of summer climate action workshops focused on climate justice issues, community organizing, and environmental action. These workshops will serve as resources for organizations, coalitions, and activists to come together and grow the climate action movement further in a more just way in our state.

The Organizing Within Your Community Training will focus on using nationally recognized best practices around development strategy and community engagement strategies;  using the story of self to help participants identify who they do this work for and what piece of their story connects with the heart of their communities;  deepening the understanding of the leadership ramp and how shared leadership will help empower the climate action movement in their community.

This workshop will be open and free to the public. We aim to create a diverse space of identities, positions, and ideologies to engage in honest and open dialogue.
