The NMEAC 30th Annual Environmentalist of the Year Awards & Celebration is the premier environmental celebration in northern Michigan.
This year's guest speaker will be Frank Ettawageshik, Executive Director of the United Tribes of Michigan. He is a traditional storyteller and potter, believing that native people need to be rooted in their traditions in order to be prepared for the future. Music will be provided by Brotha James as part of the program. Taproot will be providing food.
Your nominations are encouraged will be accepted and from through March 31, 2019. Submit your nomination here.
Doors open at 5:30 PM and the program starts at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students.
