From penguins to plankton climate crisis discussion

Join the Traverse City International Affairs Forum for a digital climate crisis discussion focusing on the impact in the Antarctic with James McClintock, Endowed Professor of Polar and Marine Biology at the University of Alabama.

He is a Fellow of the prestigious Explorer's Club and returned from his 15th research expedition to Antarctica in March 2020. He is the author of Lost Antarctica. His research, funded by the National Science Foundation, has been featured in National Geographic, CNN, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times. In 2016 McClintock performed at Lincoln Center for The Moth.
