The First Annual Ann Arbor Climate Teach-In will bring together people from across the region to hear from experts and network with others. Mayor Christopher Taylor and Dr. Shelie Miller will deliver keynote addresses around the theme, "What can I do about the climate crisis on my own? What can I do about the climate crisis with others?" There will be six break-out sessions, including What and How We Eat, Government Support to Help You Go Green, Local Advocacy Opportunities, A Zero Waste Lifestyle and the Circular Economy, How Your Green Teams Can Take Action, and Local Climate Justice. The day will end with a networking session with more than 15 nonprofit organizations. (Including MiCAN — don't miss Director Denise Keele on the Local Climate Justice session from 2:50 to 3:30 p.m.!)
