The Understanding Equity and Justice within Climate Action in Michigan training will focus on creating shared language around equality and justice; evaluating the ways we engage around equity and justice work; making attainable steps to move towards true equity and justice within our climate action movements across the state.

Michigan Climate Action Network will be launching a series of climate action trainings like this one this summer, focused on climate justice issues, community organizing, and environmental action. These workshops will serve as resources for organizations, coalitions, and activists to come together and grow the climate action movement further in a more just way in our state.

This training will be open and free to the public. We aim to create a diverse space of identities, positions, and ideologies to engage in honest and open dialogue.
