On this day Lansing 350 is going to have a rally outside of Senator Peters' Lansing office, to support him and encourage him to oppose four presidential cabinet picks which look to be very bad for addressing climate change as a serious issue. The event is still being planned, so if you want to help organize in any way, please let us know. Either way, however, we hope to see you there.

To repeat, this is against cabinet members that likely won't take the climate issue seriously. If we can continue to block cabinet appointees on this issue, then eventually we'll have to get some good appointees. Regardless of who you voted for, we still will need to make sure that climate action moves ahead at a quick enough pace to minimize human casualties. It will be much harder for us to ensure such a thing with these particular people in these cabinet positions.

We might also spend from 1:30-3 PM at Senator Stabenow's office, too, in case you wanted to go there and/or can't make the 12-1:30 PM event.
