Dr. Kathryn Docherty from WMU's Department of Biological Sciences will lead a fun and practical session focused on learning to communicate about climate change in everyday life. This session is geared toward students, but anyone interested in developing their climate change communication skills is welcome. Based on Dr. Katharine Hayhoe's book "Saving Us", this seminar/workshop will introduce participants to The Six Americas of Global Warming and brainstorm ideas on how to initiate conversations about climate change.
