Climate change has become an important topic in scientific and popular literature, but there is little understanding about the images used to represent it. The differences in expert and non-expert opinions about climate change-related images is also problematic. Lehman will discuss her thesis project research which included analyzing participants’ ratings of 320 climate-related images. She also investigated the participants’ environmental attitudes in relation to their ratings of the climate change images.
