Critical Issues, Alternative Views is a local television program that analyzes the most important social and political problems confronting the global community today from alternative, progressive perspectives that are not often presented in conventional media outlets. This award-winning show is recorded at the Kalamazoo Public Media Network (PMN) and features Western Michigan University professors Don Cooney (School of Social Work), Regena Nelson (Department of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Studies), and Ron Kramer (Department of Sociology) as regular panelists with occasional special guests who lend their expertise to the discussion.
