"Climate Change as of 2023: Simple, Serious, Solvable," will be a verifiable fact-based look at the scientific state of the issues and impacts involved in climate change, localized in many ways to Michigan. Together, attendees will explore a range of ideas to address the significant challenges we face, including what each of us can do. Presenter Chris Edwards was the Chief Meteorologist at WJBK-TV/FOX2 Detroit before leaving in 2004 to spend more time with his family and to start his own business teaching weather science. In 2011, he joined WXYZ-TV as a multi-media meteorologist, where he worked until December of 2018.
Can't make it in Bellaire? Chris will also be giving his talk in Traverse City on the 16th and in Leelanau on the 17th.
