Right now, Congress has the opportunity to pass a climate-centered infrastructure package that will allow our state and country to expand clean energy, create green jobs, replace lead service lines, and modernize our public transit. There is no time to waste when it comes to addressing the climate crisis and we need all hands on deck to make sure our Michigan lawmakers know that we demand climate action now!
On Thursday, September 23rd at 2:00 PM, The Sierra Club Michigan Chapter will be holding a rally outside of Representative Slotkin's office in Lansing, MI (1100 W. Saginaw St. Suite 3a Lansing, MI 48915). There will be speakers, swag, and resources for you to take action at the rally and virtually later on! There is ample parking available near the office building (outlined in red). After the rally, join Sierra Club staff and volunteers for a post-rally postcard writing party at El Azteco (outlined in blue).
Participants are encouraged to wear a mask and are required to if unvaccinated. Signs, shirts, and other swag will be available to all who come!
