How Michigan Can Lead on Climate and Justice in the Time of a Pandemic

Kate MadiganKate Madigan, Director of the Michigan Climate Action Network is the Digital Summit moderator. Kate is also Clean Energy Director at Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities.

 

Maggie Thomas, former Advisor to Gov. Jay Inslee and Sen. Warren and co-author of the Evergreen Action Plan, a roadmap for Congress and the next President to curb the economic crisis with equitable solutions to the climate crisis.

 

Frank Houston, Regional Director, BlueGreen Alliance talked about BGA's priorities in the COVID emergency to protect workers and bolster our economy. Also, their solidarity for a climate action plan, protecting the vote, and supporting renewable energy jobs.

 

Regina StrongRegina Strong, Environmental Justice Public Advocate with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). She is the former Michigan Director for the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign and brings an extensive background in advocacy and public affairs to her role at EGLE.
